During this class, we will paint a view of one Norwegian city as seen from above. I will prepare a few reference photos so you can choose your favourite one :) It seems like lots of details, however, I will show you how to paint in a loose style and simplify the view, how to create an interesting focal point, and add a piece of abstraction to the painting. This class is a good foundation for any painter. We are going to cover composition rules and use the contrast between a detailed focal point and abstract background. I will guide you step by step through the painting process and make sure you get personalized feedback on your artwork.
This is a one-off lesson that you will finish with a complete painting. No previous experience required.

Private tutoring

Price: 300 NOK per hour // discounts with multiple hours

I like sharing my passion with others and I can guide you step by step through the painting process, share my knowledge about composition, colour mixing and using different techniques in watercolor. My profession is architecture so I can easily teach you perspective drawing and city sketching as well. With my personal approach it doesn't matter what level you are, if you are a beginner or advanced - we can adjust the level of the lesson.
Private tutoring is a good choice if you want to learn a specific subject of your choice, if you need guidence in your art development or want to receive a feedback and advice on your current artworks.
